The curriculum was developed over many years by Seton Education Partners, a national non-profit. Special thanks are owed to Michael Carbone and John Lane, who were the primary authors of the content; the secondary authors: Yeime Valle, Kayla Keller, Barbara O'brien, Vincent Castaldi, Maria Valencia, and Sarah Meagher; the revisions team: Sabrina Morales, Meagan Robinson, and Katie Fallon; and special thanks to Rev. Wojciech Giertych, O.P. Luanne Zurlo, and Fr. Mark Hydu, LC.
We spend five years exploring and using different curriculums for our disciples, but none of them resonated in a way with our communities to change hearts in the way we imagined. In 2019 we wrote the El Camino Catechisis Curriculum and began to implement it in our program right away through a Google Drive. In 2020, we shared the curriculum with Cardinal Dolan and received his imprimatur. After incredible success and hundreds of Sacraments, we decided to share it as a gift to dioceses, catechists, the children you teach, and ultimately, The Church.
